Pujol Group History
Prefabricados Pujol was set up in 1942 by Mr. Miquel Pujol Oliva and his wife Mercè Gorné Gaset. Having an initial staff of four employees, it started its activities as a local manufacturer of concrete pipes, and three years later with hydraulic mosaic. At the beginning of the seventies, a factory was constructed for the production of prestressed concrete beams. The Company took the name of Prefabricados Pujol. After that, they continued the enlargements of their installations and for its ongoing research, a source of continuous advances and modernization in technology, and home to a skilled team of employees, Prefabricados Pujol is the first Catalan enterprise in this sector and an industry leader in Spain, having garnered multiple awards for its well-executed work.
